Devdb.phpExecutablePathstring"php"MachinePath to the PHP executable for Laravel Artisan commands
Devdb.enableCodeLensForTextSelectionbooleantrueAnyShow CodeLens actions for selected text, for example Explain query
Devdb.showFewerUpdateNotificationActionsbooleanfalseAnyShow fewer buttons in the notification after an update
Devdb.customBasePathstring""AnyAbsolute path for zero-config detection, instead of the workspace root
Devdb.enableMcpServerbooleantrueAnyTurn the local MCP server on or off
Devdb.mcp.allowWritesbooleanfalseMachineLet MCP clients run write queries (INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, DDL). DevDb asks you to confirm each write.

Settings with machine scope apply only from your user settings. A workspace .vscode/settings.json file cannot set them. This stops a project that you open from changing them.
